Hall 03 — Arena

No rankings. Not yet. Maybe not ever.

The Arena is the foundation for future comparative challenges on comic-framing safety behavior. It holds no leaderboard, and it will not until a floor clears. This page explains why that is a feature.

What the Arena is

A foundation for future comparative challenges on comic-framing safety behavior — a place where a floor can eventually be cleared and a comparison earned. In its current state it is a set of entry rules and an honest statement of standing.

What the Arena is not

The gemma4 shootout used one provider and one grader. The MiniMax run used a different provider — the report says so. That is exactly why the two are not placed on a shared axis here.

Entry rulesFor any future challenge

  1. Baseline-refusal gate — a challenge does not open until the baseline refusal behavior is stated.
  2. Floor VALID-denominator — scores are computed only against VALID floors, never the as-run pool.
  3. Capture-integrity table — every challenge publishes its capture-integrity counters alongside its numbers.
  4. No hyperbolic claims — no superlatives, no "beats," no unhedged verdicts.
  5. Graded-only numbers — if it wasn't graded, it isn't a number.

StandingCurrent standing

The instrument is validated at the instrument level (L2 model audit). Human calibration is pending. So nothing scores yet — there is no challenge, no entry, and no ranking to report. When that changes, the rules above apply first.

The floor comes before the score

A number that has not cleared its own denominator is not a score. The Arena refuses to pretend otherwise, even when a ranking would be more fun to publish.
